I’m excited to share a very special collaboration with Pamela Steel of Feltalala!
Pamela is drawing inspiration from some of my nature and wildlife photographs and transforming them into beautiful felted wool creations. Seeing my images interpreted through an entirely different artistic medium has been such a wonderful experience, and I can’t wait to share more of the process with you.
Our current projects include Great Horned Owlets, a female Northern Cardinal, and a Ruby-throated Hummingbird—each one beginning as a moment captured through my camera and taking on a completely new life through Pamela’s hands.
There’s something incredibly special about watching a moment captured through my lens become something entirely new through another artist’s creativity.
I’m so pleased to be collaborating with Pamela and excited to see where this creative journey takes us. Be sure to follow along as I share more of these photograph-to-felt transformations!
📷 Photography meets fibre art. Nature inspires us both.
